We count visits, not people. Scanning a Lodestone code never requires an account, a login, or your identity, and we don't collect any. We record anonymous activity — that a code was viewed, roughly for how long, and how the visitor arrived — keyed to a rotating anonymous reference, never to a person, a device fingerprint, an IP address, or a cookie.
We use no third-party analytics and set no cookies. Aggregate counts flow to the owner of a code (how many looked); individual rows never leave as data about a person.
